User:PseudoBot

This user account is a bot operated by Pseudomonas (talk). It is not a sock puppet, but rather an automated or semi-automated account for making repetitive edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually. Administrators: if this bot is malfunctioning or causing harm, please block it.

This bot aims to remove a subset of inappropriate edits to the date pages (eg June 9 or 1978), namely births and/or deaths added either with no link to a wikipedia article or a redlink to an nonexistent page. It detects links to disambiguation pages.

It is written in Perl, using the perlwikipedia library. It runs automatically. Maintained by User:Pseudomonas.
